Zipline canopy adventures are super fast and super fun!
Before you begin zipping above the trees you'll need to sit through a quick safety class so you understand how the system works. Some zip lines offer breaks built in stopping you safely and easily. However, if you prefer to control your deceleration, some zip lines provide a simple brake system that you apply. If you prefer one over another, be sure to check with the adventure park before visiting. The platforms are way up in the trees but zip line riders are continuously clipped onto safety lines by guides/instructors. Guides tend to be entertaining and incredibly helpful, providing advice and information on every platform, eliminating any fears or apprehension. While everything is safe, it doesn’t take away the thrills!
Hungry Mother Adventures offers five zip lines with speeds over 30 mph. It is conveniently located just two miles from Hungry Mother State Park in Marion, Virginia.

Ziplash zipline at Stickley Farm has an 1,100 ft. zip line near Bristol Motor Speedway. During the fall season, they offer hayrides, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, a haunted house and more.
