Blue Ridge Hiking Club
The BRHC is an informal group of hiking enthusiasts in north-western North Carolina, an area known as the High Country.  Full-time and part-time residents as well as visitors are welcome. Hikes are scheduled year-round in places such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Mountains-to-Sea trail, the Appalachian Trail, Linville Gorge, Roan Mountain (Tennessee), and the Virginia Creeper Trail (Virginia) to suit all interests and levels of ability. Hikes range in difficulty from easy to strenuous.  At the Club Calendar you will find a complete list of upcoming hikes and other club events.

Carolina Mountain Club

Members earn patches when they complete these challenges. Carolina Mountain Club also maintains a portion of the Appalachian Trail and other hiking trails in the Carolinas.

Mountain High Hikers
Mountain High Hikers hosts several hikes each week for a variety of hiking skills. Prospective members and guests are invited. Mountain High Hikers Club members are active in trail maintenance and schedule monthly work trips in both North Carolina and Georgia.
