
There are many shopping opportunities in western North Carolina — from large malls to quaint towns and villages. We’ve listed some of them below, including downtown Asheville, Biltmore Park Town Square, Biltmore Village, Black Mountain, Brevard, Chimney Rock, Hendersonville, Maggie Valley, and Waynesville. We’ve also provided directions, basic merchant information (with links to more extensive listings), and parking opportunities.
Asheville – Downtown
Location: Be sure to visit the historic Grove Arcade, Pack Square, Wall Street, Broadway, Lexington Avenue and Haywood Street.

Parking: Pay-parking is available on most streets. Pay-to-park garages are also available.
Biltmore Park
Location: South of Asheville, on I-26. From I-26, take exit 37 (Long Shoals Road). Biltmore Park Town Square is immediately off the exit, on east side of highway.
Merchants: Hotel, restaurants, movie theater, YMCA, national retailers (REI, Barnes & Noble), local boutiques, salons, medical facilities, and professional offices. For more information on Biltmore Park shopping click here.
Parking: Free on-street parking, as well as public-parking garages.
Biltmore Village
Location: Biltmore Village is near the entrance to the Biltmore Estate and downtown Asheville, NC. From I-40, exit 50 (Biltmore Estate exit), head north on Highway 25 for approximately one-quarter mile.

Parking: There is free parking available on the streets in Biltmore Village. Public parking is also available below the stores at 10 Brook Street. Enter the parking lot at 6 Brook Street.
Black Mountain
Location: From I-40 take exit 65 or exit 64 into Black Mountain.

Parking: Free parking on each street, as well as public parking lots.
Brevard
Location: From I-26 take exit 40 onto Rt. 280 toward the Asheville Regional Airport. Continue on Rt. 280/U.S. 276 for 19 miles into downtown Brevard.

Chimney Rock – Lake Lure
Location: From Asheville, take I-26 east to Exit #49A (Bat Cave and Highway 64 East). Stay on 64 east for 18 miles to the village of Chimney Rock.

Hendersonville
Location: From Asheville, take I-26 east to Exit #49B toward Hendersonville for approximately 2.5 miles into Hendersonville.

Location: From I-40 exit onto U.S.74 west to exit 103 onto U.S. 19 into Maggie Valley.

Waynesville
Location: From I-40 take exit 27 toward Waynesville.
